Residents can walk to the nearby Tanjong Rhu HDB housing for groceries, hawker food and other amenities.

Fort Gardens is near the East Coast beach, Indoor Stadium, Singapore Stadium, seafood restaurants, Parkway Parade Mall and eating outlets.
