Porta Fine Food & Import Company opens its doors to reveal an eclectic haven of modern European cuisine and inspiring epicurean treasures from around the world. Diners can expect dishes that skillfully combine fresh produce and seasonal flavours, as well as a retail area that will inspire one to create a wholesome meal worth savouring. The modern European bistro located in Park Hotel Clarke Quay is helmed by executive chef Michael Suyanto, previously of the Les Amis restaurant group.
MUST TRIES:The Porta Burger($26) consists an Angus beef patty with caramelised onion, cheddar cheese, crispy smoked bacon on a toasted brioche bun & French fries, served with Alain Milliat premium Ketchup, While Prawn & Chorizo Pasta ($22) features plump prawns infused with smokey harissa sauce, tomato coulis and parmesan. The well-marbled, melt in your mouth Iberico Pork Secreto ($26) is a popular favourite, similarly the 12-hour Braised Beef Short Rib with charred broccolini and curry mash ($28). Vegetarian-friendly dishes include wild mushroom orecchiette ($22) with seasonal wild mushroom in cream sauce and herbs, as well as the perfectly roasted sweet potato and kale ($14) with tahini and walnuts.
