Hi Vinitha,

Usually, MOM will take 5 to 6 weeks for processing the EP application. I am also from India and working in Singapore for IT company. I have faced same issue during my EP renewal, It took 4 weeks for my EP approval.

my issue is i can't see my new application status.. (not for processing time for approval.)
still now 15 days passed.. no new status updated in eponline.. it shows old record..

1. its a remark or it will affect my application process
2. any messages sent to employer about my queries by mom..

It may affect because it is clearly stated on their website that it may take 3 weeks or longer. Yourself being impatient, may result in your application being considered negatively.

Secondly, EP is applied by employer and not employee. You being an employee can't send any feedback or queries to MOM.It has to be from your employer after 3 weeks of application submission.

why cant you WAIT PATIENTLY?

My name is Kumar, working as IT consultant for MNC. If you are working in the same company and applied for renewal, don't think it will an issue. Hope your application will get approved

Please read her posts from start. Did she ever say renewal?

this is my 2nd ep application..
1st approved within a week , go to singapore & returned for emergency .
2nd applied 5.8.19,EMPLOYER SENT PENDING STATUS. now 18 days passed i can't see my status in eponline.. when i put passport num it shows old application status (withdrawn).. when i put new application num its "no record found".
i asked to employer, they said,the previous status not change till the new application get approved.. its very strange.. what i do?? is it correct reason?? expats,do you see this case before ..

Once MOM will update new application details in the system, than you will be able to see the status in eponline. In your case the applications is till under review and was not updated in the system.

ok. but mom take 2-3 days to a week maximum to review application & update it.. u see this case now passed 18 days..

MOM needs 3 WEEKS which is 21 DAYS not 2-3 days

ok.. but in this forum all applicants seen their status within a week.. never its take no longer.. i read fully about same threads in this forum..
Is it take 21 days to update the pending status..??

In forum there are rarely cases where ppl apply for EP, then withdraw it immediately and apply again. So, you cant compare the normal pending cases to your case.

In any case, your employer can 100% see the online status with his EPOL login.Why don't you ask them ? This will be the simplest and easiest approach

why DONT U BELIEVE employer and WAIT? Is it SO TOUGH? even if you post 100 times here or email MOM, they won't reply to you as you are not the one who filed the application. Application was filed by the EMPLOYER not EMPLOYEE.
