hi jules !
my name is christiane, I'm from austria ( vienna ) and also new in town.
I join my husband here in singapore for at least one year. It's a great city with so many opportunities.
I'm 35 years old, we have no kids and I took a sabbatical year to make nearby a distance study. So I also don't have so much time, but I think it is always great to meet new people especially in our age.
so feel free to contact me(
[email protected]) - maybe we will meet one day to drink a glass of wine and have a nice conversation.
all the best, christiane

Hi Christiane. Welcome!
Its good that you're with your husband. Becuase this forum is for Ladies 35 of age. At least I can chat with your husband while you are with the ladies here, if ever we go out.

Hi folks
I've just come across your thread.
I've only been here for 3 weeks and I'm going slightly demented being at home with the kids all day so some adult company would be great.
Too short notice to make your meet up tonight - but would you mind if I join you for the next one?
I'm 39, from Scotland and have a wee boy of 4 and a wee girl of 1.

Hi Jules
Thanks very much for the invitation but I definitely can't make it tonight. Hubby wouldn't be home from work in time and my wee boy is off nursery today with the cold so he's feeling a bit sorry for himself.
Also - I wouldn't have a clue where I was going as I'm still totally lost as to where things are in Singapore! If I have some advance notice of where the next meet up is I can start planning my journey!!
Hope you all have a good night tonight. Hope to join you for the next one.
