Re the OP, on my first and only visit to the loftily-named "Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands", I saw a well-dressed man in his mid-50s who may have been local may have been a PRC national, twice spit on the floor, in plain view, in from of the posh TWG tea shop.

Meanwhile, back in the office or in any public toilet really, you can witness the human birdbath, replete with a cacophony of many throat- and nose-clearing noises. I went numb to it long ago, surprised visitors from overseas offices often bring it up in stealthy hallway conversations.

When was the last time you went to a public toilet here and didn't see the entire sink and floor around it covered in water? It's as if people are trying to save water by showering in the Men's room.

Yesterday on the bus the woman sitting next to me had an extremely runny nose. She was sniffing loudly every 2 seconds and wiping her nose with her hands. I subtly started sniffing and took tissues out of my purse and offered her one as well, and she declined! I guess she would rather wipe her mucus all over her hands and sleeves than take a tissue from a stranger...I was totally disgusted.

As for all the gross noises I guess I'm getting used to those, but I still want to throw up every time I witness a grown man picking his nose in plain view of everyone.

Thanks was a nice gesture, too bad she wasn't big enough to honor it.

Agree with your second part, the only thing more gross is seeing the same time being done by a woman. Was surprised at the frequency of these, now we count how many knuckles up they go....

I just got hit by tonsillitis and strep throat for the last 7 days. No idea how I caught this virus.

But now I know why Asian tourists walk around with those face masks on. I'm going to the pharmacist and buying a pack; so everytime I'm in a MRT or cab situation with infected people I can slap one on!

Drinking cranberry vinegar cured the problem in less than a week! So i refused the CT scan @$900 can buy a lot of vinegar. My pH was 8 so I know exactly what was wrong, as i had changed my diet, no meat.

I check my pH every month normally with litmus paper, to acidic increases the multiplication of cancer cells, hence the reason for doctors putting people on strict veggie diets, avoiding meat.
what method do you use to check ur PH level?
A box will last you a long time, you just follow the instructions! You can also check a variety of beverages by dipping the litmus for 2 minutes. You will be very surprised of some of the stuff out there.

Pomegranate for example if cold pressed with skin is pH 2, that is very strong and too much will give you problems.. drinking vinegars are pH 4, and the acetic acid is only around 1.6 too 2.5 depending on the fruits.

As vinegar is a very weak acid, it dilutes very quickly with water, or in the stomach hence the reason to drink vinegar if you have a gastric problem, as the stomach pH is around 1.8 to 2 adding pH 4 will raise the pH up maybe to 3 in the stomach easing any gastric pain. Keep the urine around 6.4 to 7.4
