erm, same as Mr.Steven, are you sure? did you got this from an insider or own gauge? because the last i heard of, the nov walk-in is actually one of the last few OR last recruitment for quite some time before the next one since they "seem" to be hitting their quota for ccs already..

but of course, hopefully they indeed do have another recruitment next month.

It's an insider news:) we just had a talk abt recruitment recently and that was the date they gave us to inform those who are interested:)) I'm not sure when the news will be posted online but at least u guys can prepare urself earlier

HI. Thanks sooooooo much for the information:D I was really bummed when I missed the Nov 6th interview! Can I just make an enquiry? Like does having astigmatism affect the interview? I do wear contact lenses! And my height is 164-165cm and weighing 49kgs?

Having Asti is ok:) doesn't affect.. And yes wearing contact lens are ok:) no spectacles allowed hehe. But u might have a problem with ur height and weight...u seem to be underweight?
We need to be of average weight of BMI btw the range of 18-22 for females...
You can calculate ur BMI : weight (kg) / [height x height (in metres)]
U still can try for the interview though...but i think they will ask u to put on more weight )

can someone plz inform me on how long it can take to get a call from SIA for joining after the medical round..I cleared all the rounds in aug and even gave my medicals but haven heard from them yet...so its been about 3 months now...am really gettin worried!!

Normally the wait is about 2 weeks - 2 months..depending on individual cases. But if your case is nothing special, (ie. no medical history, no BMI issues etc) then you should have received the call in less than a month.
They will call you if you're successful and they send rejection letter if you're unsuccessful.

Your wait seems pretty long - im not sure if you had any special things they had to get approval from higher managements? But you might wanna send an email to them - telling them you waited so long and there was no news. Sometimes, there are too many applicants until they will also missed out/forget certain applicants...

thankyou so much for your response!!! ..well no there was no problem at all...I had submitted all my papers and my medicals seemed fine as well..am in touch with the other girls who got selected along with me..but none of us hav got a call yet...and no ones heard from them..so we dun know what is happenin ..no i dun hav the e-mail id...can you plz pm it to you...i can atleast mail them then....thanx once again!!!!
