still sending rejection letters?
do they have enough candidates to sustain?
what are the common causes of those rejected after medical?
oh no, this is even more nerve wrecking than stage 1!
lol
Hey ...
I read somewhere in this topic that people do receive rejection letter after 4 weeks! That really terrifies me.
I agree, this is worst than stage 1. Because this drags infinitely.
The thing is I have another job opportunity which I have to reply by Wednesday. I might have to call up SIA by tomorrow. I really really hope they could tell me I am selected

Usually people are rejected due to what reasons? Scolosis??

Hi Yujie
I am not too sure... But reading this thread I gather it's mostly due to scoliosis and maybe some past medical histories.
Are you waiting for call too?

how do they know that one has scoliosis?
is it because the person declared?
i hope they wont be so strict on medical history that is already history and doesnt affect anything anymore.

Fathileo,
They can see a degree of bend in the spone from the X-ray we did. If teu do notice any abnormal spine, they would call up the candidate for a second confirmation spinal X-ray. Usually within few days after the Medicals I heard...

I'm not sure if the date given is 6-8 weeks after the call or they will give you the earliest available slot.
The call consist of to inform you that you've been considered, they give you the training date, and to inform that you will receive the acceptance letter within 2 weeks and will need to return to them before the dateline and also they will call me again for the signing of the bond.
I already signed the appointment letter and already mailed it out, now waiting for the call again.
Don't worry yours might be a little later since you just sent out your medical report right?
