I'm 28 and I just got accepted :) good luck and all the best!

Btw, Anyone starting on 4th nov?

Hi, Congrats on getting accepted! I am 25 this year and just went for the interview in July, but I didnt get through and didnt manage to go for the one in Oct.

Was contemplating going for the next one (prolly in Jan), but I am conscious about my age cos I'll be 26 then. But seeing your reply has given me a glimmer of hope!

But may I ask, are you an ex cabin crew from another airline? And are you local (Singaporean)? cos I heard that it is easier for foreigners to get accepted? Pardon me if my questions are too intrusive! :\ just trying to clear my doubts :)

I passed my interview, now at medical round.

Was called back for scoliosis scan and also waiting for army to release my medical report to the clinic before they will access if im fit for flying.. fingers crossed... :(
Don't worry! i was also called back to do a 2nd scoliosis scan but i've never had problems with my back.
Was told my back was perfectly fine after 2nd scan but still waiting for the call..

Do you have scoliosis issues or no?
Did not know anything about scoliosis before the medical check up.

You mean they called u regarding your second X-Ray result? I have yet to receive any calls from the clinic..

Thank you! No worries!

Yes I'm a Singaporean, and no, I'm not an ex cabin crew from other airlines but they did ask me if I think I look 28 during my mgmt round. It was hilarious cos I did not expect that question coming. It's a blessing as I don't look like 28. I told them I get 24 a lot.

Don't let ur age deter u from what u dream of. Go for it and try ur very best. :) good luck!!

I went through all the stages on the interview but I'm still waiting for them to email me for the medical slip to go for medical check up. So far I know all Singaporean candidates received the medical slip right after the document checking but for me they asked me to wait for their email. It's been 2 weeks after the interview and I haven't receive anything from them yet.

The HR person checked my document then she told me to leave don't have to stay for briefing and just wait for their email for the medical check up. So I've been waited for 2 weeks and I haven't go for the check up, I'm just wondering why they haven't send me the email. I'm so nervous now. :(

No, they didn't call me. The nurse was so nice she told me about the results after the scan cause I told her I was very anxious to find out :p

Hello! currently waiting for the call from SQ too. Passed all stages and went for that medical screening. This wait is horrible yet exciting.
hi!! Yes it's been almost 2 weeks.. my friend who started flying not long ago told me it's usually within 2 weeks.

And also if we get rejected the letter should be within 1 week. So I guess we are safe, just need to keep waiting@ :(

I heard the last interview batch got their news on the 3rd week, rejection letter was after that week. =(

Differing patterns. BUT! I noticed and asked around, many of us haven received any calls so we should be safe =)
Indeed! Relieve to hear that many of us haven't receive the call. Anyway, what is your availability? Cause I still need 2 months notice bbefore resigning. So if they call I still need to wait around 3 months to start training....
