My mum-in-law found some quite good and nice looking clothing over at Metro Woodlands. Seems they select their sizing and brands according to demographics of an area......Some of the sizing was more generous than asian cut ones.

Yupyup, metro @ woodlands stock are actually not bad. Probably becos of smaller crowds. (:

In Singapore, it seems you have a lot of choice but then you don't. I would say it happens the same with food as it happens with clothing

In addition to this, if you go to a mall the lines are super long and they are very crowned. I found some cool local boutiques (for example in Arab street) but the quality is pretty cheap to be honest.

For shoes I would recommend you a new Korean store in China Square. Great shoes with an Italian design but a bit expensive

After 2 years I've decided to start shopping online but not in Zalora.sg I found few online shops which have great and unique products and the shipping to Singapore is actually free so...

Cheers to everybody encountering the same issue [/url]

I love buying stuffs from the usuals - H&M, Mango, Zara, Topshop etc. & I thought the range of clothes brought in aren't that fantastic as compared to what I see overseas.

Even the Topshop in Bangkok has better options. Meh.

Don't you know it. When we go back the States over summer, my wife, my teen daughter and I will have 3 suitcases each (one inside the other) on the way in and three suitcases each of clothes, shoes, cosmetics, and electronics on the return trip. One of the smaller suitcases is packed with Dunkin Donuts and Peet's coffee

Heck, had some Kohl dollars. Shopped online and had it shipped to our mail forwarding service in Houston which then repackaged and reshipped to us here. Was still cheaper and they clothes fit.

Well I have always been purchasing clothes online no matter where I am.

Although Singapore's "blogshop" scene has been picking up lately, I stand true to multi label concept stores like http://www.hmuse.com for concept labels and ASOS for more mainstream wear.

These 2 are the ones I frequent most often as they provide great merchandise for both Mens and Ladies

Have tried shopping on blogshops like what the locals do but like what they always say, good clothes aint cheap and cheap clothes aint good!
