I used to meet up with her and her boyfriend semi-regularly.

She's actually one of the most intelligent local women I've met here. Bright, witty, opinionated and can back up her opinions, wise beyond her young years, interesting. She uses her moniker tongue in cheek.

Actually i quite agree, one can see from her blogging she has the confidence to get up and go, quite the opposite to many other young ladies. Life is all about having a good time when you are under 30, partying and being within reach of the scene, isn't open to everyone. I was in the club scene for a while when i was 29 for a couple of years, a regular drinker propping up the bar, until I intervened, when the bouncer was getting bounced.

I was then offered a job free booze and cash to ensure the place remained friendly, I thought why not, as i was there every night anyway. I soon became part of the party scene and I must admit some of the girls had real talent, along with good looks. I can understand why some women are catty and jealous however, everyone that booms confidence wants to be the centre of attraction, even the Dj's have their own ego trips, that they build on.

I never really got pulled into the sordid scene with the illegal tripping, that's never been me. I am still in touch with a few of those people from my past, and can say that one should do what they want to do, and not care what others think, life is very short and the dangers of going too far when partying need to be controlled if one is the addictive type. Crikey I can recall doing a strip in the club, for a bottle of champagne, whoever could make the longest line on the dance floor with their clothes, won the bottle, mind you i had a ripped body at that time and could flex my pecs, to keep the crowds concentration, all in good fun

@KSL. Interesting comments. I've been into clubbing since house came onto the scene waaaay back. Been clubbing at all sorts of killer venues and dirty ol' shacks all over the world. Music is one of those things that makes people "lose it". You know ? The whole hedonistic thing ? Some people it's drugs, some it's drink, some it's an energy & vibe created by those around. I've seen it a few times here in Sing and love the fact that people of all shapes, sizes, ethnicities and self-consciousness can fall prey to the rhythm. Where a tune is just too good not to get up off yer @ss and throw down a few shapes.

Was over at Siloso a few weeks back. Movin & a-groovin [geeez... I sound like Smashee & Nicee !]. Made me realise that you're never too old to dance at clubs/ bars.

Just leave the leather pants and mullets back in the 70's, will ya !

While mullets & leather were long after my time, I don't find the get-up any sillier than that which the lads are sporting today.

just saw a guy with curly hair and a long mullet. the only thing missing was an ironic mustache.

Give these tanned girls a chance. The Asian men treat tanned Asian girls as "uneducated natives" from the hills. At least the White men are more enlightened to treat them as equals.
