It's amazing what assumptions are made by people who know absolutely nothing about you!! Relocation packages are no indication of how much someone earns, it's an indication of how much it costs to relocate! If we used Noskich's thought process, someone on a lower pay scale would receive less to relocate? Somehow, the costs of shipping, temp accom, etc would be less for them because they earn less??zzm9980 wrote:Oh thanks for telling me. Or, perhaps he just went through a divorce, medical or family emergency, etc. Or maybe he just blew it all at Brix during his time here interviewing.
And maybe I've been offered a position to relocate to because there were no sufficiently qualified people in Singapore? Given I've only been in this current role for 2 years, big assumption that I'm earning above average salary!
And my personal circumstances do not reflect how much it will cost to relocate. Again, assuming I've mismanaged my finances shows a lack of understanding that everyone has their own situations.
At least there are some people on here who live in the real world...
