Right salary package

Hello
We have been offered a salary package coming from Sydney to Singapore.
Schooling and rent will be paid.
Salary is a direct conversion from AUD to SINGD so at the moment same same. Plus 45% of salary bonus.
Does that sound fair? Right? With everything costing roughly 30% more in Singapore.
We want the move to be beneficial to us and not have to change our std of living. And "get a head' on our assets here in Syd. We live on the Northern Beaches of Sydney at the moment.

Any positive suggestions or thoughts?
Is there anyone out there that advises on this sort of thing? An employment lawyer?

Here's a cost of living comparison site that may help:

Your biggest savings will be income tax. I dont think Singapore is 30% expensive than Sydney, the reverse may be true. The only thing cheaper in Sydney compared to Singapore are milk, milk products and beef.

Living standard wont be same as Sydney. Cars are gonna be damn expensive here and if you are staying in a landed property in Sydney, its going to cost a lot more here.

You are the best judge on whether you want to make the move. The 45% bonus is the biggest positive that I can see.

When we moved here we had the same deal (same salary as at home + bonus). It's true that you will save a lot on tax but live is very expensive here.

I would say we have the same living standard here, except for a car that we could never afford! It's up to you to decide if you want to move for the same living standard as you already have now. We were thinking if it's really worth it because ideally you would move for sth better but then we decided that we are still young, no kids, so SG will be a great experience. It really depends on your priorities in life...
