Sorry to disturb once again. Called ICA today to check on SC application status (11 months now). The officer claimed "your application is at the final stage, you should be receiving your outcome in 2-3 months time".

Usually, do they mean it when they said 2-3 months time or it takes longer?

Well if the official representative employed by ICA said 2-3 months' time, then it is 2-3 months' time.

Surely you'd think the actual time is 20-30 months' time instead, based on your over-interpretation of the timeline that has been explicitly provided by officers? Chill, sit back and wait then.
