Hi there! Was curious, Father's day is right around the corner. Anyone has any ideas of where to go, deals, etc?

Any suggestions, locations, etc would be awesome. I will look out too if anything.

Thanks :) [/b]

That would be a good question to ask your dad what he'd like to do. I wouldn't take my dad down to a place that offers a "deal" on fathers day simply because I don't need some meal + drinks deal to appreciate my dad on that day.

Take your dad to Singapore Gun Club. Treat him to a round or two. That's the best thing to do for him.

I would avoid any joint that does father day specials as all they are doing is cashing on the hype.

Why not make him a special home cooked meal? or make a book with all the photos of him and you together?

Where else? Papa Rich.

Pun attempt aside, I've been enamored by their meals since my first visit 3 weeks ago. Used to think it was just another one of those wannabe places charging sky-high prices but giving rock-bottom quality. Boy, was I wrong.

All the dishes we've tried simply pop crackle and fizz with flavor. The aniseed, lemon grass and other ingredients are actually noticeably there, a rarity nowadays. And the veggies taste like veggies.

I'm no connoisseur by any stretch, but this place stands out.

It is a bit pricey mind.
