Hi I did facial liposuction in Korea recently to my jowls area and buccal fat area (buccal fat was not extracted).

I look much more gaunt now, and my cheekbones look much bigger.

Dr Lam from America says that the cheekbone area must blend in well with buccal fat area. My cheekbones are full and my sub-malar area is full also due to fat graft. Then below, my buccal fat area is much smaller. This looks totally off-balance.

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with Fillers OR Fat grafting to correct over-done Buccal fat or Facial lipo???

If so, who was your surgeon/doctor?

How many Ccs did you inject? did it look irregular after injection?

I did mine in Taiwan.. and have the same gaunt issue

Am considering of visiting Martin Huang or Woffles Wu for an opinion.

Have you consulted local plastic surgeon?

did you look older?
did your cheekbones look relatively larger too?
dr vanessa phua says i might need fillers in the range of 2-5 cc each side depending.
was yours over-done facial lipo OR buccal fat??

I think u can do this experiment

try blowing air out of your mouth..

with your lips open

take a picture before and after blowing

it pretty much simulates how you might look after buccal fat restoration.

i will be going to SGH tomorrow to do some saline injection to stimulate filler injection. this will tell me which part of my face to inject the saline...

this is obviously cause i dont wanna look like a puffer fish =D

Have a chat to Dr Kampee Karanapakorn from Bangkok Thailand. He's done a lot of cases for fat grafting as well.

His qualification is amazing and recently became one of the members of the American Society and the only 1 in 2 in Thailand (the only 1 in Bangkok) i think. You can check him out at smartbeautyguide.com as well. Great reco.
