Parents group/play dates - Orchard area

Hi there,
My husband and I have just moved to Singapore from Melbourne with our 20 month old son. We are staying in the Orchard area, probably for the next 6 months. I'm keen to meet other parents in the area, and organise some play dates for my son. He was in childcare a couple of days a week back home and I think he's missing the contact with other kids.
Love to hear from anyone nearby, or anyone with advice on how to get involved and make some new friends. I'd forgotten what it was like to be a full time stay at home parent and I'm going a bit stir crazy only having a toddler to chat to!
