We have recently moved to Singapore, can anyone help me in advising best gynecologist (someone expert in pre natal and delivery) in Singapore. Preferably in Mount Elizabeth or Gleneagles.

I can't help you with specific names but can suggest you do what we did.

Visit your local GP and talk to him/her and also his assistants or receptionist. It was actually our GP's receptionist that recommended the gyne we are using and we have been extremely happy so far. Wife is 7 months+ pregnant.

May i know which doctor and hospital you are visiting.

Dr Koh who's day surgery is in Toa Payoh and he does deliveries at Thomson Medial or Mount Alvernia hospitals.

Dr Kek in Mt Elizabeth. She was the obgyn for my wife's first pregnancy 3 years ago and she is wonderful.She is very patient, calm, experienced and very approachable. We consulted a few doctors before we chose her because my wife thought she reminded her of her mother and all her anxieties vanished just by looking at Dr Kek.

We did not go wrong. My wife was in labor for 18 hours and Dr Kek was checking in every 2 hours or so and the last few hours she was with us taking short naps in the adjacent birthing suite while my daughter took her sweet time to pop out. After my wife and daughter were moved into the hospital room Dr Kek showed up first thing in the morning barely having slept a couple of hours.

In fact we are planning for our second child and will be consulting her soon. She gets very busy and her clinic is always full. I would say consult a few and go with the one you feel more comfortable.
