How old are you? If you are an adult, it's probably "adult acne", caused by excess estrogen. You can take a supplement called Diindolylmethane, or "DIM". It's very effective for adult acne.
Good luck, Mickey

I used to have acne problems real bad due to very oily skin. Then i went extreme and started to use alcohol for my face. It helped tremendously and my skin became so much better. Although it's not recommended to use alcohol for the face, I'm just sharing my experience. No guarantees though.
For the scarring, I'm actually using a certain brand of serum and it helped to reduce the scars. So I'm considered pretty lucky to have found something for my skin.

I think acne problem is best going to the Dr. I use to have some issues as well & one of the Dr recommended using Diane 35 which is also a contraceptive pills. And it also works for skin!

Beware of using any products for acne unless they have been prescribed or recommended by your doctor. Often antibiotics are needed to treat acne, so you should see a doctor about it.

In order to avoid acne, you have to eat healthy, to sleep early and to rest enough and you don't pop your pimples or you might make it worse than before. Use some cleanser to remove dead skin and sebum and then you won't have acne anymore

There are many reasons that cause acne. I would recommend you not to apply different types of cosmetics. Make sure you sleep well, have a healthy diet and don't take stress. Stress also causes so many health issues.

Are you washing your razor in alcohol after shaving to disinfect it?
