Singapore Expats

We're considering a day out tomorrow, and my wife suggested Changi. Besides the airport, I have never been out that way. We have the benefit of a car.

Does anyone have any suggestions? The cemetery and similar might be of interest to me, though of minimal interest to my wife. So that would be something I'd leave for another occasion and visit myself. Any other suggestions welcome!

I've heard of Changi Point and a boardwalk there. Is it of any note?

I've heard of Changi Point and a boardwalk there. Is it of any note?

Point and Boardwalk is ok, about as amusing as any random section of East Coast Park.

They have famous Nasi Lemak at the hawker center in Changi Village. :p
(I know how much that will mean to you! haha)

Go to changi village, there's a few nice pubs there to have a beer, hop on the boat to pulao ubin, rent a cycle there and have another beer.
Then come back and fall asleep while someone else drives the car.
Then Have another beer.

I like the pub Bambooze , it doesnt do food so you can get food from anywhere and eat it there whilst watching the football....

I usually just go to the Indian shop next door for naan n chicken tikka, ideal for watching the football with a beer.

Warning though , the price of the beers is the same as Boat Quay ....

Easy, the one with the queue 10x longer than the others! I actually did confirm this last time against some blog posts and it was indeed the "authentic" one.

Watch out for the flip bar girls....

There is a trail that links Changi Boardwalk to Changi beach. If you are into strolling in nature, you will enjoy it.
