Can anyone recommend a tried and tested person or small shop (one man band) that assists with all those annoying computer problems (Hardware and Software).

Katong, Chinatown, City Hall, Raffles area preferred as I live/work in those locations.

try funan IT mall, i can't recommend any specific one, but there are few shops there that do fix computer problems ( hardware & software )

look up the ST classifieds .. on saturday and sunday

if it is a PC, it does't make sense to lug it to Funan or Sim Lim .. take it to the nearest place ..

if it is a company that is looking for such service, on site, then do PM me, I can refer a few small time SI shops, who do this for low cost !

Katong Shopping Center used to have a small shop exactly like what you want on the top floor. No idea if it is still there.

If you're planning to hand it over to laptop/PC service to fix your PC, i suggest you to know the real exact problems that you're currently having with your PC. Because if you're still blank, there's a huge chance the people at PC fix service will ask you more money to fix the PC. I used to have problems with my laptop. But after knowing the exact problems (thanks to internet), i manage to reduce the cost of fixing by a lot.
