I have a local/expat meet up group that meet up regularly for random activities. Activities are planned based on what the majority would like to do. It can range from drinks, sightseeing, sports, travelling, etc.

probably planning a trip to eu or maybe neighbouring countries.
also, check out angloville's volunteering programme in Poland, free bed and board, but u have to pay for air tickets.
