I can smell the election is coming think this year's election will be an asss kickin one

I enjoyed the 2011 election. I even trudged along to a rally at Serangoon Stadium one night.

There will surely be a further swing to the opposition this time - I'd venture that the question is how much. Will the PAP be able to give up their usual habit of patronising and alienating the electorate? Will the WP be able to gain any extra seats? Will other opposition parties be able to field credible candidates and give the PAP a scare or two? And will we be able to swallow the god-awful coverage in the papers and on the TV without all going mad?

Nope. Never watch TV and only occasionally look at the news sites. Checked today, full of election news. Just as well nothing else happens here.

Perhaps there will be a 'wag the dog' type incident to stir the citizenry? lol...
SGn elections seem to come with a run-up of 'remember how vulnerable little 'ol SG is', 'a little fish in a huge fish-bowl', and 'don't throw away this progress that was so hard won etc'...

Folks, was looking at the Singapore People's Party website, SPP... other than they want a two party system, I can't see what their positions are on immigration, housing... anything. Any background?
