Attending a housewarming party next fri...What are some housewarming etiquette that i should follow in singapore for a chinese family?

1. Watch out for Feng Shui. Some hosts are quite particular so when you choose your gift be careful.
2. Take off your shoes. Self-explanatory.
3. Don't send clocks, shoes, sharp objects, or anything in fours.

Google is your best friend i guess. Not too sure but imo housewarming isn't a very big thing in Singapore. Maybe even a gift isnt needed.

And some more, registering only 8 minutes apart! Who woulda thunk!

Well, the one gift you can't go wrong is to give red packet with money (ang bao we call it here). Haha The amount of money you should give, depends on how close you are to the host.

Haha, sorry, I mean dreamyjez, haha, but it's a lot more complicated than that as you well know. So, with all the up to day as of 2015 anyway, here is the current amounts you should be looking at for all kinds of functions where the giving of ang bao is often in order.
