Hi,

I am interested in hiring a legal PT maid but wondered how many working hours max is considered PT? Ideally i want to hire a FT but don't want her to live in or pay the ridiculous fee so going to opt for PT instead.

From what I know, for legal part time maids there's no limit.

However if you exceed 20 hours a week, you will need to pay CPF, if the person is SC or PR *I think but can't recall exact details.
