Clementi vs. Pasir Panjang

Hi there
i've mostly lived in the West (jurong /boon lay) because I worked in the west. Now i work in Tanjong Pagar. i have 2 options to pick an apartment at - either Clementi or Pasir Panjang. At Clementi I have a common room in the HDB for around SGD 1000 while the Pasir Panjang room is a room in a condo at 1400. Both are about 10 mins walk from their respective MRTs.
Can someone help me pick better
