Less hope, but is there Any?

Hello,
I have a PR appointment soon, and want to seek some advice from this forum:
I know my profile has less chance (based on racial quota), but want to find out if there is any?
My Profile:
Nationality: Indian
Job: Senior Architect - Software development/consulting startup
Age: 34
Experience: 11 yrs
Gender: Male
Profile: Married, have new born son
Stay in SG: 4.8 yrs
Education: Masters (honors)
My Wife
Nationality: Indian
Job: Sr. Technology Specialist - Cloud Hosting provider
Age: 30
Exp: 8 yrs
Gender: Female
Profile: Married, have new born son
Stay in SG: 4.8 yrs
Edu: Bachelors of Engg
Applied once 2 years back (when we have only 2.5 years stay in sg and no kids) and Rejected.
Can you tell me if there is any chance of getting PR approved this time?
Any advice of improving my chances? eg: Testimonials? Reference letters? Additional documents that would help?
