Rent a motorbike with a UK driving licence

Hey guys,

I have an UK motorbike driving licence and want to rent a motorcycle here in Singapore, as I only stay here for a few months. I hate all the trouble of buying a bike and then just selling it later.

Any recommendations for renting a bike here? I heard good recommendations for Aloride.com - anyone has tried? Please give feedback here.

I don't think you can rent a motorbike in Singaproe on a foreign licence. What pass are you on here? You may get away with buying or renting a Malaysian bike if you're not a PR or PEP or EP holder.

Looks like rental is possible.

Based on past experience, the rental will cost out the wazoo.

That is totally possible. LTA allows you to use your driving license without converting for up to 12 months here.

On their website https://aloride.com they also said that foreign license is okay.

Sure, it will be costly, but still better than buying a bike here and then selling it 3 months later. Too much hassle, including insurance and stuffs.

Hey there!

Renting a motorcycle sounds like a smart move, especially if you're only in Singapore for a short while. As for Aloride.com, I haven't personally tried it, but I've heard some positive buzz about their services. It's always good to hear firsthand experiences though, so hopefully, someone who has rented from them can chime in with their feedback soon.

In the meantime, it might be worth checking out other rental options as well, just to compare prices and availability. Sometimes you can stumble upon hidden gems or special deals that way.

And of course, make sure to double-check all the rental terms and conditions, especially regarding insurance coverage and any additional fees. Safety first, as they say!

Safe travels and happy riding!
