Singapore Expats

Hi There!

Have anyone ever received a rejection letter specifically with below reason:

"This candidate is not eligible to apply for a work pass. Please look for another candidate."?

This happened to me after having an entry refusal a month prior to applying for an S-Pass.
I was working and studying in Singapore before, am a female Chinese Indonesian, 26 years-old.

Any insight on this matter? Any information is welcomed. Many thanks in advance!

Sounds like you are in a leaky boat without a pump. My suggestion is try to find something in Indonsia as MOM has crossed you off the acceptable least. Why, I have no idea, but there is something we are not being told, I'm pretty sure.

Thanks for the reply. I do have some plans such as to consider Indonesia jobs now, but I'm not quite taking Singapore out of my list yet. I have a timeline in mind to see if there are solutions that could aid this situation. Would like to hear from others if they have come across this reason before.
