Singapore Expats

Hello.everyone... so here it is the million dollar question....I appreciate that what I ask is extremely subjective, personal and everyone will have a different view but as a total newbie I am interested in everyones thoughts and suggestions: Where is the best place to live in Singapore? I would like to be near the American School or then close to the city, near a good IB/GCSE school for my 6 year. A good neighbourhood with reasonable rents and the possibility of at least a 4 bedroom home.....am I asking for the impossible? TIA

So what's your budget again?

Around Tanglin sounds like it may fit the bill. Are you earning north of $30,000/month? That will make the rents reasonable for what you want.
