Singapore Expats

Hey there!

My name is Alma. I just moved here not too long ago from Houston, TX. Before Houston, I lived in Switzerland for 4 years, and Australia before that. I am a Malaysian, however, I have not lived in Malaysia (or Asia for that matter!) for about 8 years now. Returning to Asia has its challenges.

I have now ended up in Singapore for work. All the travelling has made me a very open minded person, and I would love to meet some like-minded people to hang out with, perhaps grab a beer or something. I don't really care about your gender/age/sexuality/religion/whatever. Just as long as you're an open minded person as well. Oh, and please don't be a creep. Because that would just be weird. And awkward.

Hahaha! I don't know. When I was looking for a place when I first moved to Houston, and this guy said he'd reduce the rent if I slept with him. That's one way I guess. Sometime's they're just there in plain sight

Hello, I just arrived here as well. Not much into drinking but I'm up for exploring the city a little more. Nothing too fancy though, as I'm looking for a part time job. Gotta earn my own money for expenditure. I don't mind going out on my own either. If you have any recommendations on where to start exploring first, I'd appreciate it.

I would recommend you visit gardens by the bay, it's free to enter and it is amazing

Thanks Ethan. Will surely take a stroll there then. Saw the pictures on a website and it's rather scenic.

Minimum age of entry is 18 years so I can make it into most establishments that serve alcohol.Believe me, I went clubbing every weekend just a few months ago. But thanks for the suggestion anyway!
