Studied in EASB, local private University.
Got UK degree in hospitality from EASB in 2015
Working from 2015 April till now.
Previously on S Pass till May 2017
Salary was 2.8k
On LTVP and LOC since July
Salary now is 3.6k
Paid 2 times tax
Currently pregnant
Both work she works as an assistant to a recruitment consultant. The official position is researcher (probably as she do market and candidate research)

She is also studying in poly in food science for poly diploma as that is her interest. She hope to work in health care next time.

We applied for PR application on Jan 2017 and we saw online the status was rejected in mid May. We never received the rejection letter so we do not know the reasons and how long we need to wait till reapply. Hence we waited 6 months for fresh application.

The previous application she was only earning 2.8k, we were only engaged and of course not pregnant. She was on S Pass.

Kindly advise are there points that ICA may see as plus points or bad points. Or how can we help out PR application case. How likely is out application next week to succeed?

We both definitely is more than 99% sure we will raise our family in SG and stay here forever. Hence it is frustrating we cannot get the PR.

Ideally you should have waited until you were married at least 2 years before applying for PR. Truth be known, I'd wait until that time before reapplying. It's a lot more difficult today than it was in the pass primarily because of your fellow citizens whining about foreigners here. You have them to thank for the more stringent guidelines and longer waiting periods. At any rate, if she is pregnant at least wait until she delivers the child and then apply (the child will be a SG citizen at birth assuming she gives birth here in Singapore with the father being a Singaporean. Good Luck. It really getting hard nowadays trying to figure out what ICA will do next or even to see trends.

A wait for another year or 2 should make a difference.

If you have pressing needs to move her to PR, you can ask MP letter for appeal.

Besides buying a BTO flat, that is.

Thank you a lot for the advice. Didn't know it is better to wait 2 years.
We will probably try our best for the upcoming application and appeal with MP.

I can understand the Rationale of what is the hurry for PR. Essentially it is related to money and future BTO I guess. I have got a resale flat with no grants. She is also studying and the PR rates vs foreigner rates is 5K difference a year. Of course money isn't really a strong reason just that given we are definitely staying for the long term it is like losing money silly. Of course I understand there is no way ICA can know for sure who will stay. But I whole life SC my whole family no one migrate leh. Sorry just whining a bit. Haha.
