Hi ladies.
I am expecting my first baby in less than half a year...
Was wondering what kinds of things should I stock up on other than nappies, wipes, baby clothes :???:

Thanks.

formula, bottles, breast pump, microwave sterilizer for bottles, cot and linen or whatever you plan for sleeping arrangement.

Maybe breast leakage pads (pigeon), nappy rash cream and a car seat as well.

IME you can probably avoid buying most of that until you actually need it - but then that's usually at 2AM.

Hi All,

Great suggestions you have. There are two other things I would like to add to the list.

The first being food. Prepare as much as possible prior to the birth of your baby. After the baby arrives you are so limited in time that these pre-cooked meals are so helpful. Plus you want to be spending as much time with your newborn baby as possible rather than in the kitchen.

The second suggestion I have is hydrogel pads. You should actually take this to the hospital as I found I used them soon after the birth. These are used to help protect cracked nipples after breastfeeding. They also help so soothe and cool to ease nipple pain.

I hope this helps and good luck with the birth and your baby !

Regards

Diapers, snacks for babies, detergents and fabric softeners
I got them free in a free goodie bag.
