Transferring from Iphone to Samsung

Hi guys, I believe there are people who may have posted this and have gotten the answer for it. Truth is I'm too lazy to search the whole forum to get the information I need. As the post goes all the way down.
I've gotten a new samsung S9+ but currently using an iphone. I would like to know how am I able to transfer my things over. I think the most important thing is the contacts, picture and whatsapp messages. The problem is I've tried backing up my whatsapp messages everytime i tried to switch phones, but it always unable to be retrieved on the new hp. My friends faced the same issue as well. Hopefully some expert here are able to help me with that.

Have you got a PC that you can connect both phones to? Makes it a lot easier.

I do have a laptop. But as for now i did not back up anything from my iphone to my laptop like 2 years. LOL....

Samsung has an app that you run on the iphone then android and it copies everything for you

Does it work? Hope to hear updates. I have faced problems in transffering data over from Samsung to Android.

Samsung uses Android. Transfers between android phones is a piece of cake.
