Hi all,

is there anybody permanent resident here has successfully applied LTVP for spouse?

My current condition is I am unemployed and I went back to my country indonesia for 1.5 years to take care my mom who was sick and I am going to get married soon in 2 months time. After marriage I am planning to come back to singapore to work again and bring my wife over. I only have income for 1.5k from property rental for past 1 year so no CPF contribution and I am going to look for a job with salary 2.6-3K and I also owned a condominium in SG and have been collecting rents from room for $1.5k monthly.
My question is
1. what is the chance of my wife LTVP get approved if I apply after 2 months of starting work ? I have 2 months of CPF contribution may be they are more willing to consider?
2. When they ask about income in LTVP application what does it mean? only salary or salary + rental in my case?
My wife highest education is degree and race chinese. Thanks

If you haven't worked for over 1.5 years, the odds of getting an LTVP for your wife are slim to nil. You rental income will not be used to consider and your salary, unless around 4.5 to 5K is probably too little. You wife's education and race are immaterial in this case as is the fact that you own a condominium. Sounds like you are Indonesian Chinese as well. Am I correct?

Yes, but they ask about the income is only from salary not from the total income that I generate monthly?
What is the advice that I can follow if I wanna apply LTVP for my wife with salary $3000 monthly? can I work for few months and show them that I have contributed CPF and apply for LTVP?

Agree with sundaymorningstaple. Apply LTVP requires letter of employment and payslip for past 6 months. You also need to sign Authorisation to obtain and verify financial information form, which is ICA will able to access your CPF history. If you want try your luck, at least wait until you have 6 months pay slip. Salary more than $3500 will helps.

when I am trying to apply LTVP for my wife there is a column asking my income level:
1. does it mean the income is only from salary of full time?or it is all the income that I have from full time and if I work part time and rental income?
2. does owning a property will increase the chance of it getting approved ?

Thanks

sorry I think I have caused confusion, I need to ractify my question. I have seen online about the form of application and I found the column income level but not salary. So my question is if I have more than 1 source of income every month example I have part time business or job, full time job and monthly rental should I consider it and put it in as my total income or it is only for my salary of full time that I should input?

Thanks
