Hello Friends,

My wife is a SC and I'm a 32M, LTVP (long term visit pass) holder.

Just wanted to know if anyone applied for PR under spouse scheme recently.. what is the rejection rate is like?

One of my friend with his $4k monthly income, E Pass (with 5 years work experience etc) trying to apply for PR under PTS scheme and he got rejected 2 times already..

I recently applied for PR under spouse scheme.. not sure if the rejection rate is same as PTS scheme or not.

Any thoughts?

There are many parameters involved. It's not a simple calculation.

oh and i forgot to mention, i'm married for almost 4 years now. Renewed LTVP 3 times already.

Depends on

1. Where are you from and how long are you in SG?
2. Your age?
3.Your education and job?
4. How long are you married? Kids?
5. How much do your earn and How much tax you pay?
6. If your records in SG are clean?

Usually it is based on the above. But no one can exactly say how much for each of the above is needed to get PR approved via spouse sponsorship.

What we know is PR via spouse sponsorship is easier compared to the PTS Scheme.

We are in the middle of a pandemic and in this situation 1 year does not seem long to me.

In Kevin's case I suspect they are keeping him in the pile waiting for a slot in the others family ties pile to open. There are only approx 500 of those available per year and it's a sliding window

yes i think so. need to wait for a while coz of quotas issues..

Just an update.. they asked for some employment docs + proof of income.

14 months and counting.... I guess will have to wait..
