Hello:
Hoping to tap into the group's knowledge. Does a divorce prevent (or make harder) the renewal of reentry permit? Both husband and wife are PRs and there is child involved. Both working, though one is self employed.

If both are PR's in their own right (e.g., PR via PTS scheme) divorce wouldn't make any difference. But if one spouse is via Family Ties there could be a problem as the spouse would lose their sponsor.
