Been so long since I catch a movie. Any recommendation on any on going movie show is worth to catch?

Been hearing a few people commenting 'JOKER' is nice to watch, but also hearing negative comments saying is not worth and is the worst . HAHA! What do you think? I have yet to catch this show.

To use torrents, you will need to download the torrent or magnet link (try Google for "movie name" torrent"). Then open it into a Torrent app like Bitorent (try Google for torrent app), it will then download the movie from peers or seeders.

And also, have to be careful and not use any of the leading ISPs here. Not sure about the two independents though.

Can you give some more info? Presumably Singtel and Starhub? Have there been any prosecutions?

Use a VPN if you are going to download movies, then you don't need to worry about your ISP.

I realised movies in theatres don't last very long 1-2 weeks max? Sometimes I do miss out on the movies due to the short durations.

A quick search seems to indicate it's not illegal to torrent in Singapore, but the government makes efforts to block torrent sites. Which are easily circumvented.

It’s very simple: torrenting is legal, but torrenting unsanctioned copyrighted material is very illegal.

Remember that your ISP and copyright trolls constantly monitor peer-to-peer networks (such as uTorrent) and may take action if they catch you torrenting copyrighted files.

As I said, the government makes a feeble attempt to block torrent sites, but they can and will not prosecute you for downloading copyrighted content. Your ISP, on request of copyright owners, may hand over your details, and you might get a threatening letter from the copyright owner demanding to pay $5000 or so. To my knowledge all such letters have come from US entities, and nobody has ever actually been forced to pay in a Singapore court. I stand to be corrected.
