I was introduced to this brand by a friend who says she swears by this brand, anyone tried it is it a really good brand? I saw the prices and they're relatively (or should I say much more) expensive than most other brands even more expensive than LancĂ´me and Esteee Lauder.

I'll never understand the rationale behind SKII. Most people go out into the sun to get vitamin D and a healthy glow about them. But a lot of women here keep trying to make themselves look like cadavers in a morgue with the whitening stuff. Doesn't make any sense to me as I think it look extremely unhealthy. But each to their own I guess.

@abbby I believe in the power of good marketing, if I were you I would stick to my usual skin care. Another reason, I don't want to look like a cadaver. Thanks SMS, your post made my day

The SK-II Facial Treatment Essence is said to be suitable for all skin types The lightweight and refreshing formula felt soothing and hydrating on my skin and there wasn't any discomfort at all.

I beg to disagree. I had an adult acne problem and thought that SK-II may be the answer to my problem. My acne was getting worse after I added SK-II into my skincare regime. At first I thought my skin was experiencing 'purging' period but guess not. It lasted months and my skin had no sign of getting better. Ended up going to the doc and getting monthly facial. Now I am happy to say my skin clears up and acne is just a history to me
