Tokyo in Winter

I am going to Tokyo end of Jan for 7 days. Will be based myself in Tokyo and Lake Kawaguchi. Don't ask me why I will only be staying in Tokyo and surroundings as opposed to touring the other places as well. Hubby has booked everything without discussing with me and now I am clueless what to do in Tokyo in winter for 7 days. Any advice appreciated! Thank you very much in advance!
