Hi,
My husband is a PR and I am in LTVP. I would like to know if we opt to deliver our baby in Singapore, will there any be any benefits from Singapore side for us or the baby in terms of getting PR/Citizenship for us and better school admissions for the baby in the future?

Please clarify. Thank you.

Very unlikely because initially the kid will also be under LTVP. But, if the kid is born in SG and if your husband applies for the kid's PR immediately and provided he meets all the economic contributions, etc, the kid may get PR faster than normal, eventhough it is not guaranteed.

Once the kid becomes a PR, there are certain things the kid is eligible for.

SF has it correct. The main advantage will be schooling costs ($500 per month).

Any reason why you are still on LTVP and not a PR yet?
