Anyone has any idea where can I find good looking and durable furniture without having to burn a hole in my pocket?

Looking for lower price and good quality....

I personally enjoy products from VHive, the look good, and so far, the have lasted, for the study table and dining set I bought some years back.

Other places you may wish to try looking at could possibly be :

Picket and Rail, Star Furniture, OM, Novena, Brighton..can think of these for now. Hope they'll help you!

Vhive furniture used to be good.

now, depends on what you get.

I got 2 TV consoles in July 2008.

in Oct 2008, the 2 pieces of consoles are growing mould and FLIES!!!

Everyday, I need to kill those flies.

The area which the mould and flies are growing, are the base of the consoles where the wood appear to be flimsy, errr.. not varnished sort.

Do ensure the wood's really good before getting the pieces.

But honestly, furniture years ago, last better than furniture these days.

My parents' sofa set, bought in 1985, is still working very very well, even until now and never had any mould problem.

people do things for different reasons.

if you feel it's not up to your liking, at least, find out the reasons first.
