Fresh beef rendang paste and other Indo/Malay sauces

Hi All... Can anyone point me to somewhere I can buy freshly made pastes and sauces for such dishes like rendang? I'm not looking for the usual packets that you can buy in the supermarket, but I'm thinking of probably a fresh market or similar i guess.
I've recently moved here from Bangkok and used to get so many freshly made sauces etc. from a local outdoor market and wondering where there is a similar thing in SG.
