wanted to know the processing time for new EP application applied in December, 2020 or Jan, 2021.
I am currently residing outside SG.

How long is a piece of string?

My new company applied my EP on 24-Dec-2020.
Current status: "We need inputs from other agencies to process this application. In most instances, the outcome will be available in 4 weeks’ time. Some cases may take longer."

Hopefully will get approve soon.

When did the status change?
Can you please tell me more about your background as in nationality, field, salary etc.

Hi,

I'm outside Singapore (India) and prospective employer is applying for EP. I expect a wait time of 8-12 weeks.

If approved, I understand the IPA is valid for 6 months and I will have to seek entry approval during this time. Post IPA I will resign and serve my 2 month notice period with Current employer while seeking entry permit

My question is

1) What if entry approval takes more than 2 months after IPA, will I be jobless during the transition from IPA to Entry Approval? Will my employer be able to onboard me remotely once I have IPA and not Able to secure entry approval, has anyone seen remote onboarding due to covid-19?

Since entry approval are difficult currently, am I supposed to sit jobless between the IPA grant and entry approval to Singapore?

What am I missing here, if some expert can please point out as I'm having a call with HR next week and want to be clear on all options.

Today status still same, heading 4th weeks. Hopefully to get approved this week.
I also not sure when the status changed, when I checked the status on 25-Dec it was 'we need input from other agencies'
Nationality: Malaysian
Experience: 16 years
Salary: 6K+
Field: Engineering in Manufacturing
Currently I still in Malaysia, keep checking the status every day 6am, 12noon and 6pm.
My situation a bit complicated, I used to be EP 9 years ago, upgraded to PR 8 years ago. I renounced my PR and back to Malaysia 5 years ago because of my father fell in illness which need long term treatment. I decided to go back Singapore now for my children's educations and I hope my history above will no affect my EP application.

Finally my EP is approved today.
EP apply on 24-Dec-2020
EP approved on 20-Jan-2021

I was checked the status this morning at 9:30am, the status still same as before. 11am I checked again it shown 'Approved'.

Applied new spass on 15 January. Any chance it will be approved? Anyone here has the same case with me? How long did you get your result

Got my EP visa approved.
Can anyone let me know how long does it take to get the DP approved?
