Hi everyone, I've recently bought an apartment and the original marble flooring is cracked. I've done some research online, stating that Vinyl Flooring is the most value for money. Has anyone done Vinyl Flooring and how's the experience? Any contacts or recommendation would help. Thank you.

It depends what you mean by "vinyl flooring". At the low end is a thin, single layer of material. It is hard and cold and may not last very long. Sometimes it is in tiles, sometimes in sheets, like linoleum.

That will be cheap. At the higher end are vinyl laminates. They typically consist of an underlayer, a middle layer of vinyl material, and a hardened top layer. It can be made to look like many different things, from vinyl tile, to stone, to wood floors.

This is the vinyl tile that we used to do our kitchen and den. It is a bit more than 1/4 inch thick, with a cork bottom... comfortable to walk on. The top is guaranteed against wearing through due to foot traffic for 25 years. The tile planks snap together to create a waterproof surface... great for the kitchen.
