I just got my PR approved and thought i should share my journey here in case it could be of help to anyone!

Myself :
Nationality - Vietnamese
Age - 26
Job - Nurse
Salary - 50k per annum
Duration in SG - since 2012

My husband : (sponsor)
Nationality - Vietnamese PR
Age - 36
Job - Software engineer
Salary - 190k per annum
Duration in SG - since 2004

We have been married for 6 years. No kids.

wow is more than 6 months application normal?

I’ve always wondered how the ASEAN card plays into this, it is interesting how it now plays into school fees, where as it didn’t in the past. I think it would be a smart move to embrace more ethnic diversity here.

It would hopefully add vibrancy to the food scene as well. It would be nice to have some better options for Vietnamese & Thai food, even Indonesian/Padang here tends to skew Malay.
