Need advise on PR application

I am the sponsor for my Spouse PR application. We apply on 22Nov2020 but till now no news which make us worry.
Our nationality: Malaysian
Married in Singapore: 09 Nov2020
I am PR for 9 years and my spouse holding s pass and working in Singapore since 2016
My current salary:3840
Spouse basic salary:2700
Am so worry right now

Prepare to be rejected this time. Wait at least 1 year after you are married (better longer).

What make me worried the most was I am going to be jobless from july

will this also impact application?

You are likely to fail because you are married for short time, so don't hold your breath but look for another job. Wait till you get one and not sooner than 1 year after you got married. What is your race?

Both of us are Chinese. I work in Finance/insurance industry and my spouse work in biotechnology industry
I received notice of redundancy on 01/06 and though of taking 6 months contract role offer by the company as worried it might impact spouse PR application. Maybe I should just look for new roles as i will also receive compensation package from company

Yes, u better look for a job ASAP and just update ICA. My friend was jobless for 7 months during her PR application. Once she got a new job, she sends a new document, letter, and confirmation to ICA via email. Within 6 months her PR was approved. All the best.
