Hi all, with everything so gloomy seems like we could all use a good laugh. What was the best or worst experience you’ve ever had with a neighbor? Excited to hear your stories!

One of my neighbours is a young married couple moved in I think 2-3 years ago. He seems ok, but she has some real issues. She is probably in her mid-20s.
She made a huge fuss because my (then) 7yo son stepped on her doormat. The doormat was in the common corridor space (only later she moved to her door step area) and it was this sort of wire-loop cheapo type.
She repeated the show after our friends were leaving after midnight and one of them stepped on this bloody mat.
She called security when I was fixing the door bell - apparently could not stand the ding-dongs.
She must have spent hours looking through the peephole or waiting near it as before they installed this electronic door viewer, she would have opened the door on the slightest noise coming from the corridor area.
Not sure what kind of experience it is, but it so absurd I found it funny.

I once had a neighbour who would want a particular lot in the car park and he would park his car and take a bus to work. And if he used his car, he would make it a quick one just to be back to ensure 'his' lot is still there. Harmless, but irritating.. Kind of an odd behaviour.

Sounds like a pretty intolerant person, harmonious living can only be achieved with understanding and kindness. Perhaps she has some sort of obsessive compulsive disorder?

I’m guessing that like most
condos the spots aren’t assigned? I have quite a few neighbors like this, they avoid taking their car out at all costs to retain their ideal parking space. I understand since “prime” parking lots are quite high in demand, but such behavior seems unnecessary.
