Hi, I would like to apply for SQ air stewardess. But I used to be in the sun a lot and had some pigmentation/discolouration on my face and arms. Does SQ accept such flaws or do I need to have perfect skin?

SIA mostly aims for scars, they're tanned stewardess around but i have not seen any pigmentation on them. Of course good make up helps during the interview

In the application form (online and hard copy to bring along to interview), they will ask you to state whether you have pigmentation on your skin or face.
But I would say just go and try...then you will find out. If you wanted to become stewardess, even you don have perfect skin now ...you might later.... interview will be a good experience...at least you know what they are expected at what stage

i dont tink it is necessary 2 have white skin.
if your skin is dull, i guess they can still accept u provided u dont have those pigmentation?
if u really desire to become one FA, u can consider undergoing some facial treatment to get rid of those pigmentation.
however, i have some enquiries.
if there are moles on the hand. do they still accept u? =)
hope 2 hear yr reply soon.

There is no need to have flawless skin to be FSS. As long not big pot holes! it's fine..

Flaws like small light marks or scars is fine cos after concealing,it won't be that visible. As for pigmentation, of cos not bid patches or dark coloured ones. But like small freckles which is also called pigmentation, i feel it's passable, especially if you are tan, the freckles are not very obvious.
As for moles on the hands, it's also acceptable, unless you are talking about big ones then i dunno. Small ones maybe three of four on the hand should be fine.
