Advise on Future Plans

Hi all

I’m kind of new , I studied in locally Poly and started my FT work and been in the same industry for 11yrs now. I’m the average salary man you bump into everyday. I’m stuck with few options and would love to hear all your thoughts.

I applied for SC last year and after 18 months my application got rejected. Now with that I’m kind of feeling demoralised (I believe human nature). Here are my questions

1. I’ve been PR since 2008 ( I believe most call it , easier to get PR timeline). What’s my next step ?
2. Since I’m not getting any young , does that mean I’m likely to be PR for life ?
3. What can I do with CPF since I can’t afford a condo ? Is there any other alternatives?
4. Anyone been in my situation, what did you do ?
5. Would you consider starting fresh after 17yrs ?
6. Any other advise ?

Thank you
Disappointed Soul

Continue staying on your PR, or make a plan B (i.e. migrate to another country).

What’s your race? Industry? Salary? Age?

Thank you for the reply , I’m definitely trying my best to stay positive and continue work and the things I love . Plan B sounds daunting since I’m so comfortable here. But at the same time I would love to have that sense of belonging.
1. Race : Sri Lankan
2. Industry : Leisure & Tourism
3. Annual : 60k
4. Age : 36

Everything seems complicated now

Hang in there. It’s definitely not easy.

Upskill yourself. Improve your career and your salary and then try again.
