I just received my In-Principle Approval for my LTVP application and have 30 days to submit the documents requested (medical check and marriage preparation program).

However, my STVP expires in 3 days and I just applied to have it extended, but it was rejected? I'm very confused by this. The LTVP approval email said that "This notice does not constitute a valid pass to remain in Singapore. It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that he/she has a valid immigration pass to remain in Singapore at all times. The applicant may seek Visit Pass extension online (https://eservices.ica.gov.sg/esvclandingpage/extend).

You do not have the physical LTVP card yet so you are still on STVP. You need a valid STVP until you can collect the LTVP card.

Approved in principle means they can still reject any time if the submitted documents (like the medical report) are not satisfactory.

Not sure why your STVP extension got rejected but you need to have it extended ASAP. You and your spouse should go down to ICA to do the extension and also show you have a pending LTVP approved in principle.

I have the similar issue for my wife, can advice how did you manage to do visit pass extension?
Her ltvp approved in principle (document recieved). Her stvp is expiring in 4 days but her visit pass extension is rejected.
What to do in this scenario? Please advice did you faced similar issues before.

You and your spouse should just go down personally to ICA to request for an extension…

Needless to say, bring all the necessary documents. Like her passport and your IC, the pending LTVP application, etc.

I also plan to visit ICA with my spouse, but i do not have appointment. Hopefully they will allow to enter ICA level4.
